Best part is that after you finish reading our top picks, you can shop the IfChic site for a ton of coveted shoe designs by the likes of Eugenia Kim, Dear Frances, Ancient Greek Sandals, Dee Keller, Missta and so many more! We got your back…or feet in this case.

  1. The Lace-Up

Probably one of the biggest trends of the season when it comes to fashion in general, the lace-up is a must have style for the spring and summer. We’re not talking about a combat boot lace-up. We’re talking about tie-wraps that wind around the ankle, or go as high as being wound around the calf. While this is a style that we typically see on high heels or gladiator designs, you are going to love all of the lace-up ballet flat options out on the market. Wear them with everything from your favorite shorts to your favorite summer dress.

  1. Platforms

Sure you know what a platform is. You might even prefer it to a non-platform shoe since they allow for much more comfort when wearing high heels. However, all across the fashion runways, the platform has gotten a big makeover, and we mean big. Platform styles have gotten bigger in height and width, giving them a 1990’s twist.

  1. Flatforms

Flatforms have been around for a couple of seasons already, and it’s safe to say that you can break them out again for this spring and summer. Whether slides or creepers are more to your liking, there are a ton of designer shoe options to choose from. Slip them on with your favorite pair of denim and you are good to go!

  1. Sneakers

We love us some nice sneakers. There are some fantastic style available from casual and sporty, to embellished and printed. No matter what sneaker look you prefer, one of our favorite ways to break them out right now is to pair them with sundresses. It tones done the femininity of the dress and makes it a bit more casual-cool on an overall level.

  1. Silver

Silver heels, silver sandals, silver sneakers and so much more! The blast of metallic that silver footwear will give to your outfit will be so city sleek. What’s great about silver shoes is that the neutral metallic will allow you to wear them with so many different outfits that you already have in your wardrobe.

  1. Pointy-toed

The Victorian clothing trend has shown no signs of slowing down, which is why it makes complete sense that this trend has trickled down to shoe designs. Pointy-toe heels were spotted on the runways of Givenchy and PrabalGurung.

  1. Mules

We heart mules. The shoe of course, not the animal. You can literally slip them on and run out the door. There aren’t a ton of straps to worry about digging into your foot. And they look fantastic with everything from classic denim looks, to formal cocktail dresses. You are going to love how versatile having mules in your shoe closet will be.
